A HOUSE COMING APART (CONCEPT #1)

An ordinary room. Photos on the wall. Regular furniture. The wind starts low, barely noticeable. But as the song builds, so does this force until the house comes apart around them.

A curtain lifts. A picture frame tilts then drops. Loose papers, mail, a magazine skating off a table. A door creaks open.

The wind picks up. Lights start to flicker. A window cracks.

Books and dishes rattle off a shelf, one at a time, then a whole cabinet emptying at once. A vase topples and smashes.

TWT performs in different spaces as if nothing is happening.

By the chorus, the room is coming apart.

A bookshelf topples forward, spilling everything. A door frame buckles, the door itself comes off the hinges. Debris moves through frame.

A wall panel finally gives way and crashes down.

Lights flicker. Furniture overturned. The floor littered with broken glass and splintered wood.

The video ends with the room in ruins around them. They're standing exactly as they were in the first shot.

I’m really inspired by this Teddy Swims video where they built this paneled-wall set in a warehouse or studio instead of a real house.
